I have loved audio ever since my grandfather introduced me to radios, tape recorders and other noisy gadgets when I was a child. We used to repair transistor radios together; he gave me a sense of pride in caring for electronics and restoring instruments that is still a strong tenet of mine. I still love the smell of soldering irons and flux!

My focus on audio quality and attention to detail are my hallmarks. I have a reputation for excellence in sound and musical expression. I am an expert programmer for the Rhodes Chroma synthesizer. I owned and ran a successful recording studio, The Altruistic Corporation, for a decade. I recorded and mixed the music of singers, composers and bands, radio jingles, engineered sound reinforcement at live music venues and sound production at the New Tyne Theatre, Newcastle-Upon Tyne.

My love for music technology deepened through study. I gained a Distinction in my Masters Degree in Audio Production at the University of Salford in 2023.

I specialise in producing intricate, highly detailed recordings and mixes that show every song and artist at their finest. I work closely and supportively with artists and musicians to encourage and capture the best performances they are capable of. I achieve this with empathy, and sensitivity, together with technical expertise in recording and music technology.

With years of hands-on experience, a deep-rooted passion for audio, and a commitment to delivering the highest quality sound, I offer a unique blend of technical skill and artistic sensitivity. Whether you’re an emerging artist or an established musician, my goal is to help bring your vision to life—creating intricate, powerful mixes that highlight your talent and make your music stand out. Let’s work together to craft recordings that truly resonate, capturing the heart of every performance.

Reach out, and let’s create something extraordinary.
